Rikka Macao was established in 2017 as a gift and jewelry brand that incorporates the cultural characteristics of Macao. Guided by the belief that “every window has its own unique historical story,” the brand uses the window as a creative medium, transforming the aesthetics and cultural narratives of Macao’s architecture into wearable and portable creations. Inspired by Macao’s World Heritage sites, including the Ruins of St. Paul’s, St. Dominic’s Church, and St. Francis Xavier Church in Coloane, Rikka draws on the stone carvings and decorative details of these landmarks, reinterpreting them through its own distinctive design language. Its “Stained-Glass Collection” uses translucent materials to recreate the play of light and shadow found in church stained-glass windows. Popular souvenirs include the “Want to Hit You” series, as well as various fridge magnets (Purring Cat, Mee Mee Portuguese Egg Tart), stained-glass bookmarks, rulers, keychains, postcards, and more.
